The handy and compact ZAPP!18 disinfection lamp for dry indoor areas prevents the spread of infectious diseases through ambient air . The air is led through the white powder-coated cylindrical aluminium housing into the interior, where it is irradiated by a special tubular lamp with optimised UVC light. This damages the DNA or RNA of fungi, bacteria and viruses and renders these pathogens 99.99% harmless .
ZAPP!18 can be placed on tables, windowsills, shelves or on the floor; it can also be fixed to the wall. The power supply is provided by a plug cable via the power socket. The presence of people and pets is possible without danger during operation, as dangerous direct UV radiation is limited inside the dwelling. This makes the ZAPP!18 an ideal solution for medical practices, hospitals and other healthcare facilities , hairdressers and beauty salons , care and educational facilities such as kindergartens and schools, retirement and nursing homes, public administration and offices .
