Description

Niederhauser steel backplate for mounting a lathe chuck on a DIN 55029 Camlock short-taper spindle. Finish-machined on the spindle side, faced on the chuck side; stiffer than the cast iron version.

Good to know: The backplate connects the lathe spindle to a chuck or faceplate with DIN 6350 mounting, sold separately. The chuck side is supplied faced and is fitted to the chuck during installation.

  • Mounting: short taper DIN 55029, Camlock studs (3 or 6 depending on taper size)
  • Body: steel, higher rigidity than cast iron
  • Machining: finished on the machine side, faced on the chuck side
  • Compatible with: spindles with Camlock DIN 55029 (D1) nose; Niederhauser 3- and 4-jaw lathe chucks
  • Accessories: Camlock studs sold separately, sizes 3 to 15 (ref. 142-003 to 142-015)

Where your order ships from. All our shipments leave Switzerland, from our warehouse in Val Terbi. International orders are consolidated at our premises, then sent as a single parcel.
