SCHAUBLIN F20 Emergency Collet

The F20 emergency collet is a quick solution for clamping special diameters. The body is hardened and ground, while the head remains soft, slotted, and features a central pilot hole.

This collet can be machined directly on the lathe to the desired bore (round, notched, or custom shape). It ensures high concentricity and has the same elasticity as a standard collet.

Machining procedure:

• Ensure the 3 retaining pins are in place
• Secure the collet using the clamping device
• Machine the bore as needed (drilling, turning, grinding)
• Remove the collet, extract the pins, clean – ready to use

Note: Brass versions are available for delicate workpieces.
