SCHAUBLIN F30 Emergency Collet

The F30 emergency collet provides a fast solution for urgent clamping of non-standard diameters. The body is finished, hardened, and ground, while the head remains soft, slotted, and includes a central pilot hole.

This collet can be machined directly on the lathe to the desired shape (round, notched, or special form). It ensures optimal concentricity and maintains the elasticity of a standard collet.

Machining procedure:

• Ensure all 3 retaining pins are present
• Clamp the collet using the collet chuck system
• Machine the bore as required (drilling, turning, grinding)
• Remove the collet, extract the pins, clean – ready for use

Note: Brass versions are available for delicate workpieces.
