SCHAUBLIN F37 Emergency Collet

The F37 emergency collet offers a fast solution for clamping non-standard diameters. The body is fully hardened and ground, while the head remains soft, slotted, and features a central pilot hole.

This collet can be machined directly on the lathe to the required bore (round, notched, or special shape). It ensures excellent concentricity and retains the same elasticity as a standard collet.

Machining procedure:

• Check that the 3 retaining pins are in place
• Clamp the collet using the appropriate device
• Machine the bore to size (drill, turn, grind)
• Remove the collet, take out the pins, clean – ready to use

Note: Brass versions available for delicate workpieces.
