SCHAUBLIN Shrink-Fit Chuck

The SCHAUBLIN shrink-fit chuck is designed to provide optimal clamping through thermal expansion. Its cylindrical bore is heated to allow tool insertion, then contracts upon cooling, ensuring an extremely rigid and concentric hold.

Thanks to its expertise, SCHAUBLIN offers shrink-fit tool holders compatible with most induction or hot air systems. They are suitable for many types of carbide tools, and under certain conditions, for HSS tools, with or without coating.

  • Usage: high-precision milling, hard metal machining
  • Compatibility: induction or hot air systems
  • Shrink-fit temperature: 150 to 300°C depending on the tool type
  • Accepted material: carbide, HSS (according to manufacturer's recommendations)
  • Design: optimized external contour for rigidity and safety
  • Recommended tolerances: e4...f5, ISO h4 to h6, ISO m6 (depending on tool)

Where your order ships from. All our shipments leave Switzerland, from our warehouse in Val Terbi. International orders are consolidated at our premises, then sent as a single parcel.

Carrier. UPS worldwide, Swiss Post for deliveries within Switzerland. A tracking number is sent to you as soon as the parcel leaves.
