SCHAUBLIN B32 Emergency Collets

Fast solution for urgent clamping of custom diameters. Body is hardened and ground; head is soft, slotted, with a central pilot hole.

Can be machined directly on the lathe to the desired bore (offset, grooved, or custom shape), ensuring excellent concentricity and same elasticity as a standard collet.

Machining steps:

• Check that the 3 retaining pins are in place.
• Clamp the collet using the standard collet holder.
• Bore, turn, or grind to the desired diameter.
• Remove from machine, take out pins, clean – ready to use.

Brass versions available for delicate parts.
